Infinitecture

← Back to the Portfolio

Infinitecture sets the generalities of architecture aside and let the people create their own spaces. These spaces will get meaning through the viewer’s perception. A space can be used one day as a market street and the next day it can be used as a meditation room. These spaces coexist in harmony with the surrounded natural environment. Take for example a huge city like Beijing, which is known by their high rise buildings. Infinitecture restores the natural environment by creating a large area for nature which is protected by an artificial forest. This artificial forest will be the transition between city and nature. In this artificial forest people can create their own spaces. The spaces that are created can be seen as clouds, as the spaces change during the time. These structures provide an ideal condition for us humans, but also for plants, trees or animals.
